Acupressure is just like acupuncture but without using needles. Pressure is applied to the acupuncture points to stimulate various things to occur in the body, depending on what you need. Acupressure can open up blood flow, reset nerve function, and relax muscles along a nerve pathways.

Shiatsu is a style of bodywork developed in Japan.  It is similar to acupuncture, but uses finger pressure instead of needles and works along the energetic channels, and not the acupuncture points.(Acupressure works specifically and with focus on only the acupuncture points) Shiatsu's name comes from two Japanese words -- "shi" or finger and "atsu" or pressure.  Shiatsu's goal is to restore the healthy flow of energy throughout the body.
